本专辑收录的《杰罗修斯之梦》（The Dream of Gerontius）是爱德华・埃尔加（Edward Elgar）于1900年创作的清唱剧（Op.38），被誉为 “埃尔加最杰出的作品”。作品以约翰・亨利・纽曼（John Henry Newman）的同名诗歌为文本，讲述了垂死之人杰罗修斯的灵魂在守护天使的陪伴下穿越生死、走向神性的旅程，通过嘲讽的恶魔合唱、庄严的天使颂歌与深情的独唱段落，构建出兼具宗教庄严与情感温度的音乐叙事。他州的骑手奖，1990 年美国作曲家、作家和发行商协会颁发的吹笛者奖，1994年歌手协会颁发的艾拉终身成就奖。 1994年，同年妇女国际中心颁发的 Living Legacy 奖，1999年美国歌曲作者协会颁发的总统奖。其他荣誉包括1992年的大乐队爵士名人堂，1999 年的歌曲作者名人堂，以及2020年美国伟大歌曲集基金会的歌曲作者名人堂。1960年，佩姬因录制唱片在好莱坞星光大道上获得一颗星。这颗星现在位于好莱坞大道6319号前。
