山川有灵，滋养了中国人的魂魄。历史有因，造就了我们如今的性格。而作为一名创作者，脚下的大地恰是我命数中该去历炼的红尘。

所谓“悲歌欢唱”是一种人生态度，也是一种寻根中的发现。整张唱片从准备创作到制作完成历时三年。在这期间，我的内心一直萌发着大感动，这感动来自于我的根。

我希望做一张我的父辈们能听懂的音乐，并与我的整个文化背景产生共鸣。我希望以我的母语，深度触及我的同胞们的心灵，并在美妙深邃的东方文学的影响下，真正融入世界现代音乐的版图。我希望我已表达了我对时间的敬畏、对人类美好品格与行为的期许。至少音乐可以做一面镜子，从而照出我们真实的内心。

Mountains and rivers possess a spirit that nourishes the souls of the Chinese people. As history emerges into the present, it shapes our current character. As a creator, the land beneath my feet is precisely the world I am destined to experience.

The so-called “Lamenting in Delight” is an attitude towards life, and also a discovery in the search for the roots that deliver us to the present. The entire album took three years from preparation to completion. During this time, a profound emotion constantly welled up within me; an emotion stemming from my roots.

I hope to create music that my parents’ generation can understand, music that resonates with my entire cultural background. I hope to deeply touch the hearts of my compatriots through my mother tongue, and, influenced by the beautiful and profound Eastern literature, truly integrate these foundational elements of my native culture into the landscape of modern world music. I wish to express my reverence for time and my hopes for humanity’s noble qualities and conduct. At the very least, music can serve as a mirror, reflecting our true inner selves
