When he began rapping, he took inspiration from New York drill artists like Pop Smoke and OMB Jaydee, using their powerful and antagonistic sound as a jumping-off point for expressing his own experiences. His first songs were released in 2022, and he quickly released full-length projects like 2023’s For the Meantime and 2024 albums King Jag and Westside Story. In 2024, Flaco collaborated with Tay Savage on the single “Free Throw.” Around this time, he also made music in collaboration with artists like Lil Reese and Fay3hunnit.TiVo Staff
