专辑简介
The Shun Ishiwaka Trio is a group consisting of Shun Ishiwaka (Dr), Yusei Takahashi (Pf, Fender Rhodes, Sampler, Modular Synth), and Marty Holoubek (B). The production of “Mabui” was decided based on the positive response from a concert held in January featuring Tomoaki Baba (Tenor Sax) as a guest. Furthermore, Ishiwaka and Baba are childhood friends from the same hometown. They performed together, providing the instrumental music for the animated film “BLUE GIANT” released in 2023.
All the songs included in “Mabui” are Ishiwaka’s original compositions, and the recording was done in just one day in March. The album title means “soul” in the Okinawan dialect.
Following the album’s release, a national tour titled “Shun Ishiwaka Trio Hall Tour 2026+27 featuring Yusei Takahashi & Marty Holoubek Guest Tomoaki Baba” will be held. This tour will go through performances in Gunma and Hyogo in September, Ibaraki and Niigata in October, and Kanagawa in December, before reaching its finale with the Saitama performance held in January 2027.
