在ASM Forte Forward系列的第二卷中，安妮-索菲·穆特演奏了两位她心中重要的作曲家的作品。

另一种在常规语境之外出现的乐器是低音提琴：安妮-索菲·穆特邀请塞巴斯蒂安·库里尔为她和低音提琴手罗曼·帕特科洛（她基金会的奖学金获得者之一）创作一首二重奏。柯里尔为这次委托创作了《铃声变奏曲》：“我想用非常简单且大家熟悉的素材来创作，”柯里尔说。“这是唯一一首如果观众席上电话响了，突然就有新变奏的曲子！”
